RE: FlyChallenger: Re: Just Returned From 20th Challenger Fly-in
Nothing fancy, because I just got home and I am WORN OUT.
Thanks to all for making this such a great time for me personally, and
(I
could tell!) all who attended. Thanks to Jim Robinson too, who
jump-started my Challenger for me when someone had "helpfully" flipped
my EIS on for me overnight!

Hear! Hear!
I would just like to say that the people I meet and talked with at Eire
Park were as much, if not more, of a pleasure as seeing all the
beautiful planes. It is true that Challenger people are as special as
their planes (even if one did fly a Titan). See you all next year again
I hope.

I'm really hoping that this Challenger get-together will be an annual
event. That would give us all time to be there with plenty of notice. A
light plane as well designed and loved as the Challenger, and the folks
that fly them, deserves this event at least once a year, am I right?

Landed at O'Hare from Los Angeles Thanks to "United Airlines.. Rented a
car
and drove the 155miles to Erie...we were amazed at the beautiful
countryside and the wonderful farms..2 hours later came up to Erie Park
and
was amazed once again at seeing so many Challengers in one spot...Got to
meet Jim And Sue "Owners of Erie Park" and were impressed by their kind
hospitality. They just seem to be a great family. Food was great too. We
got
to meet Dave Goullet as well. It was just awesome. To see for real so
many of the Challengers I have been able to see only on the Internet and
all looked so much more impressive in person. I picked up so many great
ideas from everyone's planes which is going to help me during the final
assembly of my own CII. There was not a Challenger there that we did not
stop at and admire. We sincerely hope that Jim and Sue will now make
this annual event.
Congratulations to all at Erie Park for a Spectacular Show....
Best Regards......John and Joette Hayward, Agua Dulce, California.
